Vulcan Materials Company's Racine Quarry announced their partnership with St. Rita Elementary School as part of their Adopt-a-School program during an assembly in front of the school's 260 students.
Don Lindner, Vulcan's Racine plant manager, presented St. Rita Elementary School's schoolchildren with a $3,000 grant to provide educational materials and safety equipment.
"We are proud to support the students of St. Rita Elementary School," Lindner said. "As a socially responsible employer, we're committed to helping improve the quality of life in our communities."
